Why Sober Living?

Can even the best of “character development” programs be a success without the proper spiritual and communal underpinning?

“75+% of all homeless adults suffer from addiction.”
-National Institute on Alcoholism and Alcohol Abuse

After the first 90 days of sobriety, the single greatest statistical probability for relapse occurs at the 1 year mark, due to: 1) adverse living conditions, 2) a failure to enlarge one’s spiritual growth, and/or, 3) an inability to realize upward mobility.

Can anything make an impact in this vicious cycle?

A post treatment, recovering alcoholic/addict, has less than a 5% chance to remain sober, if returned to the same, adverse living environment as before, or in to a single person dwelling. DePaul Study, 2005

“75+% of recovering men and women remain sober, in perpetuity, after 9 months or more in spiritually healthy, long-term sober living homes.”
